Designed by Reichel - Pugh and built by Mal Hart Marine, Limit is owned by West Australian yachtsman Alan Brierty. Limit is 63' long and sailed by a team of 16 - 19, depending on the type of race.



Limit utilises the absolute latest in technology, with her hull, spars and sails comprising mostly of Carbon Fiber. The deck layout is open and functional, allowing the team to transmit all power through the 3 pedastals to any primary winch on the boat. Limit is a very stiff and extremely powerful boat, requiring quick, efficient systems to keep it sailing at optimum speed, all the time.




The technology doesn't end there - below deck is a sophisticated Navigation Console incorperating GPS Chart Plotter, Notebook with Expedition Tactical and Navigation Software (integrated with VPP and Sail crossovers) with wireless tablet for on deck use, Satphone, UHF and VHF radios.
